Quality Policy

With a view to the developments in the European Union and World Trade Organisation concerning the free trade in products and between the members, Eagle Certification Ltd is offering its very best in quality relating to the certification of systems and the inspection of products/services.

Our aim is to achieve an optimum service to meet the requirements and expectations of our customers with regard to the evaluation of quality management systems in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 and inspections to PAS 43:2008.

A quality system has been installed which enables Eagle Certification Ltd to operate in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO 17021 using Option 2: general management system requirements, for its QMS. The top management is committed to maintaining impartiality across all areas of our management system and its certification activities. Any possible conflicts of interest will be controlled, investigated and recorded. This is set to underpin the objectives of this system. Objectives are set annually by the MD.

Some major elements of Eagle Certification Ltd policies are:

  • All suppliers have access to the senior management of Eagle Certification Ltd
  • The maintenance of absolute independence with regard to any training activities delivered
  • The performance of audits/inspections by suitably qualified and experienced staff
  • Performance of audits/inspections is on a consensus basis with the customer, ensuring that the evaluation of their system, product or service in relation to the standards is honest, open minded, objective and firm.
  • Open and confidential relations with the customer; activities and planning shall be flexible, aiming to achieve short feedback and response times on matters such as questions, program planning, issuing of reports and decisions
  • Safety and environmental aspects will be items for evaluation in the course of certification or inspection on customer's premises.


The Governing Board is established to guarantee an independent implementation of this policy.

The Quality Manual describes the management tasks, structure and core organisation, as well as, all quality safeguarding activities necessary for this certification/inspection body in auditing, inspecting and certifying quality systems, products and services. The requirements will be satisfied in accordance with ISO 17021 & ISO/IEC 17020.

This Quality System is the direct responsibility of the Managing Director who controls and operates it in line with the current issue of ISO 17021 and ISO/IEC 17020 with approved Guidelines produced from time to time by learned bodies linked to UKAS ‾ International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and European co-operation for Accreditation (EA).

The Managing Director and the auditors/inspectors engaged shall be obliged to follow the quality management measures laid down, and they are required to contribute towards its improvement. The Quality Manual and all other related documents are made accessible to certification and inspection body personnel involved in both auditing and inspection work at Eagle Certification Ltd.

All full or part time and subcontracted staff who have any contact whatsoever with customer related information, are obliged by their respective contracts of employment to maintain confidentiality and impartiality. Specific customer-related information, which comes to their knowledge in connection with their activities, must not be passed onto a third party, even after employment has been terminated. This will apply to members of the Governing Board or any other person having access to customer related information.
